Learning Objectives

·               Understand the overall need for training.

·               Identify who should receive disaster-related training

·               List the beneficiaries of disaster preparedness training.

·               Describe various training techniques, using examples of special programs that offer intense training in aspects of disaster management.

 

Course Contents     

The preceding Lessons will explain what disaster preparedness is, how  to design a preparedness program, and discuss how to implement preparedness. This Lesson will present the overall need for training, identify who should receive disaster related training, discuss who will benefit from disaster preparedness training, describe various training techniques, and refer to examples of special programs that offer intense training in various aspects of disaster management.
