mittal 19 To, The Honorable Ministry, Dear Sir, Subject: Grievances. This is in reference to our earlier letters written to you. We are all aware that Kutch is passing through the worst phase of life. As we had mentioned before that our NGO is working for the benefit of the Society via a non-commercial web portal www.panjokutch.com. We are constantly interacting with people in Kutch and got to learn following details: Ř
In some of
the villages ration shops are selling and misappropriating grains at
price, the grains that are given to them for free distribution among the
affected people. Ř
It is also
learnt that unsocial elements are selling and misappropriating blankets
and other materials at price, which are given to them for free
distribution among the people. These kinds of activities are inhuman and most shameful, in
these hours of crisis when people are facing untold sufferings. We request
you to take steps against such unsocial elements, so that the sprit of the
people who are donating should not shake. It is suggested that concept of Gandhiji
“social control”
may be accepted to avoid such occurrence. In the earlier letter we have
suggested that there are hundred NGO’s (the list of few were sent to
you) may help to smoothen the process of public distribution services, for
day-to-day effective functioning, so that the government will gain
popularity for their best services available to the people. I hope you will look in to the matter as soon as possible do
the needful for the victims of the devastating earthquake. Thanking you, Yours
truly, Panjokutch.com (Pankaj
