Subject: An Appeal from Panjokutch.com

We are all aware that our Sober Kutchi Society is passing through the phase of suffering due to this massive Earthquake. We have received tremendous help from our NRI brothers and it is moral duty to see that their efforts do not go in vain.

We have written many letters to Government suggesting them to recognize our NGOs and issue them I-cards and also to give them powers equivalent to government servant. We also suggest that during Panchnama, relevant photographs to be taken and the list to be prepared of their belongings at home and on the body.

3 copies of the said documents to be prepared-

Ø 1 remains sealed with the government.

Ø 2^nd remains with the NGO/village head or Sarpanch.

Ø 3^rd for day-to-day use.

Also the Community Home to be prepared at the earliest so that immediate shelter can be provided to our homeless brothers. And than provide shelters after proper Medium-term & Long-term planning. Houses should be built after taking proper precautions. All care should be taken so that History does not repeat itself and donors all over the world are satisfied to the fullest.

The letters of correspondence to the government authorities and the list of NGOs are enclosed herewith. We look forward for a positive response from your side.
