Step 1 : Initial Application Letter /
Covering letter with the Application.
This letter is to be sent to the NGO Cell, GSDMA, Gandhinagar.
Step 2 (a) : Survey Report
The initial survey can be carried out by the corporate / voluntary agency
(NGO) to collect required data in respect of the villages to be partnered
with. This data may also be obtained from the Taluka Mamlatdar's office.
The final survey is expected to be complete by 16th March, 2001.
The survey data for the villages would help you in arriving at cost estimates
for reconstuction / repair, as applicable.
Step 2 (b) : Prescribed form for request
of allocation of villages.
* This form is to be filled up by the concerned corporate / NGO.
* Three copies of this form shpuld be made. And need to be submitted to
the NGO Co-ordinator's office, the concerned District Collector and the
Taluka Mamalatdar's office. Application form that needs to be sent - is
put seperately in this manual.
Based on this application, an in - principle approval will be given by
the Gujarat State Disaster Management Authority (GSDMA).
