| Procedure: |
|
The Bride / Groom has to sit on a mattress placed on wooden table in front of Kuldevi. Then pasli is fed to Bride / Groom by the Bhabhi followed by tilak ceremony. Then the Bhabhi puts flower garland and gold chain in the neck of Bride / Groom. Then all the ladies start singing the song 'Manek Moti Pasli Bharavo'. The lady who feeds pasli then applies kum kum on all the ladies. Lastly for Bride 'Chundadi' is sung and for Groom "Padh' sung. Mean while kum kum is sprinkled on five wedding cards and are given to close relaties. Lastly dry coconut or any other appropriate gift is given to all the ladies and lunch is offered in which shira is offered which is made for Samota. While the Samota ceremony is going on, one of the relative from Groom's side goes to Bride's house and hand over Silver coin to one of the Bride's relative. |
