4 to 6 above mentioned ladies dressed up in Gharchola go to Bride's house. One of the ladies carries a dish which contains Kankavali, Sugar cubelits & Rice. All the ladies go towards the bride's house by singing the song 'Ala Nila Terchi Aarna'. The Bride's mother wearing a Khomba and carrying water in a utensil comes at the doorsteps and gives water for gargle to the lady who is carrying dish.All the ladies from the Groom's side fads pasli to the Bride and putssome rice in the lap of the Bride. Then the lady sitting next tothe Bride touches the dry coconut brought for Padra to the Rice.The Bride then puts all the rice into a hanker chief kept next to her. The Pasli procedure is repeated four times by different ladies. At the same time all the Ornaments and clothes brought for the Bride are displayed and songs and phatana's are sung by each side alternatively. Lastly all the invitees are served with Tea and snacks. |
