Shree Radhakrishnan Charitable Trust is a social organisation serving humanity in the field of Medical and Rural Development activities, with the primary aim of support and upliftment of the downtrodden for the past four years.

Main Activities conducted are as follows:

  1. We are running an Acupressure Treatment Centre in the name of "Shree Radhakrishnan Acupressure Centre " at No 1, Vraj Bhavan, Navroji Lane, Ghatkopar (West), Mumbai-400086, where over hundred patients receive Acupressure and Acupuncture Treatment, daily, from experienced hands for variety of ailment, Viz, Paralysis, Cervical and Spinal disorders. We humbly state, that we have a fair degree of success.
  2. We also treat disabled children, where the disabilities need corrective surgeries, which are being carried out by eminent Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr AJAY THAKKAR M.S(Orth) at Dr KIRAN DOSHI'S Nursing Home, M.G Road, Ghatkopar (East), Mumbai - 400077, at no cost for the last 2 year, Over 300 Children have been operated till today.
  3. Our emphasis have been mainly to provide medical facilities to the rural poor. We have carried out the following corrective surgery camps.
    a) 53 operation (Polio Corrective Surgeries) at Public Health Centre, Tulai, Murbad Taluka, Dist.Thane in December 1993 jointly with the Rotary Club of Mumbai Ghatkopar.
    b) 87 Operation & 59 Calipers to non-Operative disabled children in December 1994 at Alephata Junnar taluka in Pune Dist.
    c) 20 Operations at Sarvoday Hospital, Ghatkopar (West). Mumbai-86 in July 1995.
    d) We have also organised Free Treatment camps for "Asthma" patients on Sharad Poornima day in Oct 1995 at Pune Vidya Bhavan, Ghatkopar (East) where over 1000 patients received treatment each of the camps.
  4. We have provided hand-operated borewells at villages Dehri and Tulai, and also at Takli Dhokeshwar Apang School, which has solved drinking water problem to certain extent.
  5. We have also distributed uniforms and books to the poor children of Dehri and Tulai villages.
