INTRODUCTION

Having
streamlined the activities at " Shri Kutchhi Jain Bhavan ",
We thought of other projects to serve the community. Among many discussed,
we decided to extend our helping hand to Kutch District and a concept
of "Shri Kutchhi Vishram Gruh" took birth. We identified
that on an average more than 100 patients from kutch are treated at Civil
Hospital as indoor patients. While admitted patient gets treated at the
hospital, the accompanying relatives find no place to stay within the
means available. The hardship these people were facing while their dear
ones were hospitalized were seen to be believed.
To fulfill these mission, a plot of 16,500 Sq.Ft. was purchased in the vicinity of Civil Hospital and Rajasthan Hospital. Our morale got boosted when we received Rs. 1 Crore donation of this project from G.M.D.C. Shri Mukeshbhai Zaveri - MLA of Bhuj (Kutch District) and chairman of GMDC was instrumental in the process of securing this handsome contribution.
