Kids support quake relief concert


The Royal Far West Children's Home has commited some of it's residents to creating a banner to herald the Kids4Kids benefit concert in the Corso on Saturday...
The Concert is to assist survivor of January's devastating earthquake which claimed 60,000 lives in india's Gujarat state.
The banner,which measures 3m-by-1.5m,will hang adjacent to the Corso Amphitheatre during the concert and then be shipped to india along with photos of manly kids involved in the concert and the money raised.
"It is to show the children in this embattled land that people in Manly are thinking and caring about them,"Lucy Bucknell said.Mrs Bucknell is the grandmother of organiser and instigator of the concert,11-year-old Dannielle Hurda.
Kids4Kids is on from 11am-1.30pm.
