Proposition to Government

1)     To allow felling of Babul tree (keeping roots) in the barren and non-agriculture region ,which would yield income to various people and also allow inclusion of all industries using products and extracts from Babul tree.

2)     Babul to be declared as a crop and not a tree.

3)     To allocate land free of cost to people of Kutch who can cultivate Babul trees which will provide sustaining income every year and will provide substantial income after 5 year and 10 years of period.

4)     Since Babul helps in conservation of Soil, proper techniques for growth of Babul and the use of various extracts and products to be established in consultation with foreign institutions.

Magical and Ritual theories

1)     The Wood is used as fuel in sacred fires in India, and is also used in building temples

2)     A sprig of the tree placed over the bed wards off evil, as it does when tucked into the turban in Eastern countries

3)     When the wood is burned with Sandalwood, the psychic powers are stimulated.

4)     Babul is also used in money and love spells, although in the latter case the outcome would be a platonic love
