Hyderabadi Chilly Wada
Ingredients:
200 gm Chana Dal.
Pinch ful Asafoetida.
Oil (To deep fry)
6 red chilly.
1 cup grated coconut.
½ Tsp. coriander seeds.
½ Tsp. Cumin seeds.
1 Tsp. Black pepper seeds.
Chopped coriander leaves.
¼ Tsp Turmeric powder.
Salt to taste.
Method:
Wash & soak chana dal for 6 hours.
After that drain all water & grind it well.
Soak red chilly in water for sometime & grind it to paste.
Add red chilly, coriander & cumin seeds, black pepper, salt, coriander leaves, coconut in the grinded dal batter & mix well.
Make medium sized wada from it & fry them till it become golden brown.
Serve it with green chutney or with tamarind (Aamli) chutney.
