Hyderabadi Chilly Wada
Ingredients:
  • 200 gm Chana Dal.
  • Pinch ful Asafoetida.
  • Oil (To deep fry)
  • 6 red chilly.
  • 1 cup grated coconut.
  • ½ Tsp. coriander seeds.
  • ½ Tsp. Cumin seeds.
  • 1 Tsp. Black pepper seeds.
  • Chopped coriander leaves.
  • ¼ Tsp Turmeric powder.
  • Salt to taste.
 
Method:
  • Wash & soak chana dal for 6 hours.
  • After that drain all water & grind it well.
  • Soak red chilly in water for sometime & grind it to paste.
  • Add red chilly, coriander & cumin seeds, black pepper, salt, coriander leaves, coconut in the grinded dal batter & mix well.
  • Make medium sized wada from it & fry them till it become golden brown.
  • Serve it with green chutney or with tamarind (Aamli) chutney.
