Vegetable Soup
Ingredients:
2 tsp green gram (mag) dal.
2 onions.
2 big tomatoes.
2nd ingredients:
1 onion (finely chopped)
1 shredded carrot.
½ cup cabbage (long strips)
½ cup spinach (finely chopped)
1 tsp tomato ketchup.
1 tomato (finely chopped)
2 sp oil.
Salt and pepper as per taste
Method:
For Stock:
Cut tomato and onion into big pieces.
Add 6 cups of water in green gram dal.
Put it in the pressure cooker & cook till 1 whistle.
Put it in the liquidizer, crush it & filter it.
Method:
Heat oil in a pan.
Add onion & cook it for 1 min.
Add stock, carrot, cabbage and spinach & boil it for 10 min.
Add ketchup, finely chopped tomato, salt and pepper & boil it for 10 min.
Serve it with cheese.
