Vegetable Soup
Ingredients:
  • 2 tsp green gram (mag) dal.
  • 2 onions.
  • 2 big tomatoes.
2nd ingredients:
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 shredded carrot.
  • ½ cup cabbage (long strips)
  • ½ cup spinach (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp tomato ketchup.
  • 1 tomato (finely chopped)
  • 2 sp oil.
  • Salt and pepper as per taste

Method:

For Stock:
  • Cut tomato and onion into big pieces.
  • Add 6 cups of water in green gram dal.
  • Put it in the pressure cooker & cook till 1 whistle.
  • Put it in the liquidizer, crush it & filter it.
Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add onion & cook it for 1 min.
  • Add stock, carrot, cabbage and spinach & boil it for 10 min.
  • Add ketchup, finely chopped tomato, salt and pepper & boil it for 10 min.
  • Serve it with cheese.
