Instant Tomato Sauce
  • 500 gm Tomatoes (chopped)
  • 1 Onion (finely chopped)
  • Salt as per taste.
  • 2 tsp Sugar.
  • 1/4th tsp cinnamon powder.
  • 1/4th tsp Carom Seed's powder (ajwain)
  • 1/4th tsp Cumin seed's powde (Jira)
  • 1 pinch Red Chili Powder.
  • Grind tomatoes & onion into fine paste.
  • Then add salt, sugar, cinnmon powder, carom seeds, red chili powder & bring it to boil.
  • Cool it & use it as required. It can be stored for 2 days if refrigerated.
  • To preserve the above sauce for a month or two add 1/4 tsp acitic acid & pinch of sodium-bi-cardonate or sodium benzoite while boiling.
