Instant Tomato Sauce
500 gm Tomatoes (chopped)
1 Onion (finely chopped)
Salt as per taste.
2 tsp Sugar.
1/4th tsp cinnamon powder.
1/4th tsp Carom Seed's powder (ajwain)
1/4th tsp Cumin seed's powde (Jira)
1 pinch Red Chili Powder.
Grind tomatoes & onion into fine paste.
Then add salt, sugar, cinnmon powder, carom seeds, red chili powder & bring it to boil.
Cool it & use it as required. It can be stored for 2 days if refrigerated.
To preserve the above sauce for a month or two add 1/4 tsp acitic acid & pinch of sodium-bi-cardonate or sodium benzoite while boiling.
