Dal Mooth
 Ingredients:
  • 250gm lentil (black masoor)
  • 1tsp.rock salt.
  • 1tsp.pepper powder.
  • 150gm.nylon sev.
  • 50gm.coloured boondi.
  • Cashew nut, grapes & magajtari seed as needed.
  • ½ tsp.cinnamon & cloves powder.
  • 1tsp. dry mango powder.
  • Oil or ghee in proportion.
  • Salt as needed.
 
Method:
  • Soak lentil (masoor) for 6 to 8 hrs in water.
  • Filter it & dry it on cloth.
  • Fry it in ghee or oil.
  • Add salt, pepper, rock salt & nylon sev in the mixture.
  • Add coloured boondi, cashew nut, raisin, magajtari seed, cloves-cinnamon powder & dry mango powder in the mixture.
Note:
  • Instead of dry mango powder you can add ½ tsp & citric acid.
