Handvo
Ingredients:
For handvo flour:

 

  • 1 kg Rice.
  • 125 gm urdar dal.
  • 125 gm yellow moong dal.
  • 125 gm tuvar dal.
  • 125 gm channa dal.
Ingredients
  • 12 spoon flour.
  • Butter milk.
  • Little hot water.
  • 100 gm ground nuts.
  • 2-3 spoon sesame seeds.
  • Ginger- chilly paste.
  • curry leaves.
  • 1 big spoon oil (for tempering)
  • Mustard seeds.
  • Salt as per taste.
  • ½ spoon soda-bi-carbonate.
Method:
  • Mix all the flour & grind it.
  • Take 12 big spoon flour to make a batter.
  • In flour put butter milk and hot water mix it well.
  • Keep 5-6 hour in hot place for fermentation.
  • After, that put groundnuts, salt, soda-bi-carbonate, ginger-chilly paste & mix it well.
  • For tempering, heat oil, put mustard seeds, cumin seeds, sesame seeds & curry leaves when it splutter put it in a batter & mix it well.
  • After then, heat pan put little oil heat it put 2 spoon batter in it & cover it with lid on a slow flame. one side is done then another side.
  • Server hot with tomato sauce & green chutney.
