Tender Coconut Ice cream
Ingredients:
  • 1 ½ cup tender (cream of green coconut)
  • 11tbsp sugar.
  • 3tbsp cornflour.
  • 1cup cream.
  • Vanilla ice cream.
Method:
  • ½ cup tender coconut (thick malai)
  • 1cup tender coconut (thin malai)
  • Boil milk to half. Add sugar. Mix cornflour in cold milk & then add to the boiled milk.
  • Boil for 10 mins.
  • Allow it to cool.
  • Add essence & crushed tender coconut cream in the milk & keep for setting in the refrigerator.
  • Churn it again after setting & add ½cup tender coconut (thick malai) in the ice cream.
  • Keep in the refrigerator for setting again.
