Red variyali
Ingredients:
  • Roasted Variyali
  • A mixture of Kattha & chunna in ratio 3:1
  • Sugar powder
  • Hira moti masala.
Method:
  • Add the mixture of Kattha & chhuna in roasted Variyali. (mixture of kattha & chunna means add 2tsp kattha & 1tsp Chunna in little water mix it & boil it for a while i.e. till it mixes well.)
  • Add sugar powder & Hira moti masala . mix it well & keep it for about 2 hrs
  • So that it catches red colour properly.
  • Keep it in sun light.
  • Rinse the mukhwas at slow gas during rainy season.
  • We can also add some colourful slice of coconut. we can also use different colours & Essences.
  • For eg. For yellow colour instead of kattha & chunna we can use food colour & pineapple essence & For red colour we can use rose essence.
