Paneer Butter Masala
Ingredients:

For 6 persons

  • 200 gm panee.
  • 50 gm cashew nut.
  • 2 sp khaskhas (Poppy seeds)
  • 4 red chillies.
  • 200 gm onion medium chopped.
  • ½ Cup fresh cream.
  • ½ sp grinded sugar.
  • ½ cup curd.
  • 1 onion (blend it in the mixer)
  • 1 cup coriander.
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • 1" cinnamon.
  • 3 cloves.
  • 5 pepper.
  • ½ cup kasturi methi(soak in water for ½ hr)
  • Salt to taste.
  • 3 tsp ghee.
  • 200 gm red pumpkin shredded.

 

Method:

  • Boil onion, cashew nut, red chilly & khaskhas (poppy seed) in 1cupwater & 1cup milk for 5 min. Make paste.
  • Heat ghee in a pan and add cinnamon, cloves and pepper.
  • Put onion for 1 min, then add pumpkin, roast it for 2 min.
  • Add onion paste, cook it for 4 min & then add tomato puree, curd, garam masala, salt, sugar & red chilly powder.
  • Put fenugreek (methi), coriander, cardamom and cream. Allow it to cook for 5 min.
  • After cooking, put of the gas and remove cinnamon, cloves and pepper.
  • Then put paneer cubes.
  • Serve it hot with parathas and rice.
