Onion Paneer Kulcha
Ingredients:
  • 4 cup maida
  • 1 sp baking powder
  • ½ sp eating soda
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 sp sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 sp curd
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 4 to 6 sp butter

For filling:

  • 200 gm shredded paneer
  • 2 onions (finely chopped)
  • 2 green chilies (finely chopped)
  • Fresh coriander
  • Mint leaves
  • ½ tsp red chilly powder
  • 1 sp cumin seeds powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp oil

 

Method:

  • Mix sugar, milk, curd, baking powder and eating soda in maida.
  • Add water as needed and make dough.
  • Apply oil on all sides of dough and cover it with a wet cloth.\

For filling:

  • Mix paneer, onion, green chilly, mint leaves, red chilly powder, cumin powder and salt & make them into 8 parts.
  • Take small dough and roll it with a roller.
  • Add Paneer mixture in the middle of the dough.
  • Close it again & roll it with the roller.
  • Heat the oven at 240 deg cel and bake the kulcha for about 6 to 8 min.
  • Serve hot kulcha with butter on it.

Note:

  • Instead of oven you can use a non-stick pan for making kulcha.
