Carrot & Peas Pulav
Rice - 300 gm
Carrots - 60 gm
Green Peas (Shelled) - 40 gm
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
Bay leaves - 2
Oil - 2 tbsp
Salt - as per taste
Wash and soak rice for an hour.
Drain well and keep aside.
Wash, peel and dice carrots.
Heat oil in a pan & add bay leaves and cumin seeds and cook for ½ a minute.
Add turmeric powder, carrot and green peas and cook for 3 minutes.
Add rice and 600 ml water.
Add salt, mix well, cover and cook till done.
