5 tbsp (30gm)Maggi coconut Milk powder.
1cup raw rice.
3 tbsp (15gm) oil.
1 tsp mustard seeds.
1 tsp chana dal.
1 tsp urad dal.
4 red chillies broken.
8-10 curry leaves.
1 sliced onion.
Salt to taste.
1 tbsp coriander leaves.
Cook rice in double the quantity of water & keep aside.
Heat oil in a kadai.
Fry mustard seeds, chana dal & urad dal in hot oil for a minute.
Add red chilies & curry leaves.
Add the sliced onions & fry them till light brown.
Mix cooked rice & salt with rest of the ingredients in the kadai.
Put off the flame.
Sprinkle magi coconut milk powder on the rice & mix well.
Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
Rice can also be steamed to retain nutrients.
