Cucumber Vadas
 Ingredients:
  • 150 gm Cucumber (country cucumber)
  • 50 gm Gram Flour (besan)
  • 1 tsp Ginger - Garlic Paste.
  • 1 Onion (chopped)
  • 4 to 5 Green Chilies (finely chopped)
  • Coriander (finely chopped)
  • 1 Cardamom (Powdered)
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon-Clove Powder.
  • Red chili powder & Salt as per taste.
  • Oil for frying.

 

Method:
  • Wash cucumbers & cut into 4 inch long pieces, add water & salt & boil it.
  • When boiled, drain all the water.
  • Grate it & smash it with the help of palms.
  • Then add ginger, garlic, cardamom powder, cinnamon-clove powder, red chili powder, Onion & salt.
  • Mix well.
  • Roast gram flour on low heat Mix it in the cucumber mixer alternately.
  • Now with wet hands make small balls of the mixer & slightly press it from above.
  • Then deep fry it in oil.
  • Serve hot with green coriander chatni & tomato ketchup.
