Palak Chat
 Ingredients:
  • 7 - 8 Spinach Leaves.
  • ½ cup Gram Flour (besan)
  • 1 - 2 Potatoes (boiled)
  • ½ cup Curd.
  • 1 tsp Chat Masala.
  • 2 tsp Sweet Chatni of dates & jaggery.
  • 2 tsp Spicy Green Chatni.
  • Red chili powder - as per taste.
  • Salt - as per taste.
  • ½ tsp - cumin seeds (roasted)
  • ½ tsp - Ginger paste.
  • Fresh Pomegranate Seeds.
  • Coriander leaves (chopped) - for garnishing.
  • Oil - for frying.

 

 

 

 

Method:
  • Wash spinach leaves properly & wipe them off.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Take Gram flour in a vessel & add salt, red chili powder, ½ tsp cumin seeds & water to it.
  • Mix it into a smooth paste.
  • Dip the spinach leaves in it & deep fry it in oil.
  • Arrange them in a plate.
  • Take a mixing bowl & chop the boiled potatoes in it & add chat masala, sweet chatni, green chatni, a pinch of red chili powder, salt, cumin seeds, ginger paste & pomegranate.
  • Then take another bowl & beat curd adding a pinch of salt.
  • Now first put the layer of potato mixer on the fried spinach leaves & then the layer of curd.
  • Repeat the layers.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Serve immediately.
