Method:
- Steam sprouted
moong & peas over a pan of boiling water for 2 mins.
- Mix together the
steamed sprouts, peas, onions, potatoes, tomatoes, coriander leaves,
green chilly & fresh coconut.
- Add salt to taste.
- Heat oil, add cumin
seeds & allow spluttering.
- Add hing, mix well
& remove from flame.
- Add this oil to
the above mixture & mix well.
- To serve, arrange
the missal on a plate and top with beaten dahi & maggi tomato chatpat
sauce.
- Sprinkle sev just
before serving to prevent missal from getting soggy.
Tip:
- For nutritionally
balanced snack, have dahi missal accompanied by alu tikki & fruit
punch.
