Vegetable Frankie
Ingredients:
  • 4 chapattis of maida.
  • 1cup shredded carrot.
  • ½ cup crushed and boiled green peas.
  • 2 boiled potatoes.
  • 1 tsp oil + oil for roasting.
  • ½ inch ginger pieces.
  • 1 green chilly finely chopped.
  • ¼ sp red chilly powder.
  • Turmeric as needed.
  • ¼ sp garam masala.
  • Salt to taste.
  • 1 tsp fresh coriander.
  • ½ sp mango powder (aamchur)

For serving:

  • 4 sp coriander chutney.
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 sp vinegar.
  • chat masala.

 

Method:
  • Heat oil in a non-stick pan and sizzle with cumin seeds (jeera).
  • Add Carrot, green chilly, ginger, green peas, red chilly, turmeric, garam masala and salt in it and cook it for 2 min.
  • Allow it to cool.
  • Add smash potatoes in it.
  • Add mango powder and coriander in it.
  • Make 8 piece of potato masala and make rolls like cuttlace.
  • Roast it with oil on a pan.
  • For making Frankie take a chapatti and apply green chutney on it.
  • Put potato pattice on it.
  • Then put onion on top of it.
  • Put little vinegar and little chat masala on it.
  • Make roll of it and wrap it in a alluminium foil.
  • Serve it hot.
