  • 250 gm moong dal (green) .
  • Salt. Sugar, added curd 500gm.
  • Cumin powder, red chilly powder.
  • Chutney made from dates
  • Soak moong dal in the water for 8 to 10 hrs.
  • Wash it properly & remove the skin as far as possible.
  • Then crush it in the grinder.Use water while grinding if needed.
  • Make the thick batter. Add salt.
  • Heat oil in frying pan.
  • Put 1-1 sp. of batter in the oil. Let them fry till it gets golden brown.
  • Remove wada from the oil & put it in plane water for some time.
  • Remove it when it gets soft. Press them with palm & remove excess water.
  • Arrange them in a dish, pour chutney, sweet curd, cumin powder, red chilly powder & serve it.
  • You can also pour tamarind chutney on it.
  • You can also use black gram(Udad dal).
  • Both Mung dal & Udad can be soaked & grind together.
  • You can also use just fried bhajia of it, instead of soaking them in water & then using them.
