Malai Sandwich
Ingredients:
Sandwich:
  • 1 liter Skimmed Milk.
  • 1 tsp. maida flour.
  • 2 ½ cup sugar.
  • 7 ½ cup water.


Cream(malai)
  • 100 gm mava (khoya)
  • 1 ½ tsp Sugar.
  • 3 tsp milk.
  • 3 tsp rose water.
  • Red or yelow colour (optional)
 
Method:
  • Prepare Paneer as per the above given method.
  • Add maida flour & mix it with soft hands into smooth dough.
  • Divide into 8 - 10 parts.
  • Smash each part with soft hand & mould it into square shape.
Syrup:
  • Add sugar to water in a deep & broad based vessel.
  • Heat it on high flame.
  • When sugar water starts boiling, add pre-made square pieces in it.
  • Let it boil.
  • After about 5 minutes cover the half of the vessel with a lid for about 20 minutes.
  • Then remove from heat & keep them in sugar water for about 5 - 6 hours.
  • Prepare cream for filling.
Cream:
  • Add sugar, milk & rosewater to mava.
  • Make it into a smooth paste.
  • Cut each square piece horizontally into two.
  • Fill this cream in between the two parts.
  • Apply silver foil above it & Serve. [you can also add rose essence]
