Anjeer Barfi
  • 500 gm Mava (Khoya)
  • 100 to 200 gm Anjeer (fig)
  • 2 cups Milk.
  • 140 gm Powdered sugar.
  • 2 tsp Chocolate powder.
  • 4 tbsp Ghee.
  • Chop figs into small pieces.
  • Take a brass vessel and heat ghee in it.
  • Add figs to ghee and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Now add milk and cook till it thickens.
  • When done remove it from the heat & keep aside.
  • Now heat 2 tbsp of ghee and add mava and sugar to it.
  • Cook it on slow flame.
  • As it becomes thick add mixer of fig & milk and cocoa powder.
  • When it binds up completely & starts leaving the vessel remove it from the heat & add 1 spoon vanilla essence to it.
  • Spread it into a plate which is properly greased with ghee.
  • Cut into pieces when cool & serve.
